Dr. Farida Virani was invited to conduct a session on ‘Women and Leadership’ at the ‘Lions Academy of Excellence’ programme for its members. The programme aims at ‘Professionalizing Volunteerism’. Even though there is a general agreement that ‘Women are Equally Qualified and Competent, Barriers Persist’. She discussed some powerful strategies of successful women leaders. She concluded leaving the audience with a potent thought; “Dream it. Dare it. Do it”.
